Debbs prefers to paint in oils and charcoal for her art, favoring charcoal for portraits due to her ability to manipulate both mediums. Her dedication to art defines her as an artist. A resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Debb has always been recognized as an artist within her local community. Her passion for art has been a constant throughout her life. Despite initially working in a graphics design shop and eventually owning her own business, her inner desire to create could not be suppressed. This led her to pursue a full-time career as an artist several years ago, dedicating herself entirely to her craft.

When questioned by a friend and mentor about what she would do if unable to paint, she expressed that painting was so important to her being that she would feel unable to breathe without it.
